Hi, I’m Cassandra, The Creative Behind Melipona Soundworks.

As a disabled Salvadoreña, I know the power of support and the courage it takes to be heard. In systems designed to silence us, our voices, our stories, are acts of resistance and resilience. They deserve to be amplified, honored, and shared.

Podcasting is more than a medium; it’s a movement. It’s a space where we create our own platforms and connect with audiences who are ready to listen. If you’re looking for a Latina audio editor who values your unique voice and brings precision to your podcast sound, I’m here to help you tell your story.

My Experience

With a degree in Film and Digital Media, I’ve been honing my skills in audio and video editing since 2009. Over the years, I’ve worked as a freelance editor, combining technical expertise with a creative touch to deliver polished, professional results. Whether it’s crafting seamless audio for professional projects or enhancing creative works, I thrive on the intricacies of editing. I’m confident that together, we can make your sound shine.

Why Melipona?

The name Melipona comes from the small, stingless honeybee native to Central and South America. This remarkable bee is the only species capable of pollinating the vanilla orchid, creating a unique symbiotic relationship. Without the Melipona, the vanilla orchid struggles to thrive naturally, making this bee vital to something so universally cherished.

As a disabled creative, the story of the Melipona resonates deeply with me. Endangered but essential, it represents resilience, purpose, and the power of small yet irreplaceable contributions. By choosing this name, I hope to honor the bee’s significance while drawing from its strength of purpose. Just as the Melipona plays a critical role in creating something extraordinary, I strive to amplify voices and bring clarity to stories that deserve to be heard.
